Carlton B. Geesaman, Sr. founded this company in 1976 with a straightforward idea. Do the job right, treat the customer right, and put your name on work you’re proud of. Starting in Central Pennsylvania with a focus on custom home building, he grew CBG into one of the most trusted names in the region over the following decades.
In 2013, he passed ownership to his son Carlton “Cobbie” Geesaman Jr., who has carried that standard forward while expanding the company’s capabilities to include excavation, concrete, and a broader range of commercial work. Carlton Sr. passed away in 2015, but the company he built and the name on every project remains his legacy.

Cobbie grew up in the business and took ownership in 2013. He oversees every aspect of operations from estimating and client relationships to hands-on project work in the field. He holds the team to the same standard his father built the company on and has expanded CBG’s capabilities significantly since taking the helm.
Ben is the first point of contact on most new projects, working directly with clients to scope out the work and put together accurate, detailed estimates. He brings a practical eye to every job before a single nail is driven, making sure expectations and budgets line up from day one.
Dan has been with CBG for years and serves as the field lead on every project. He keeps jobs moving, catches the details others miss, and makes sure the Geesaman standard is maintained from the first day on site through final walkthrough.
Shawn leads CBG’s excavation and site work operations, overseeing every dirt job from initial grading through foundation prep. With his own equipment and crew, he makes sure every site is ready the right way before the build begins.
Dolores keeps everything running behind the scenes, managing the books, coordinating schedules, and making sure clients always have someone responsive on the other end of the phone.
