Hummelstown Custom Home

Hummelstown, PA

Project Overview

Description:

This 5,400 square foot, 4 to 5 bedroom custom home in the rolling hills of Hummelstown, PA is one of those projects that shows what CB Geesaman is capable of at the highest level. The exterior is finished in 100% masonry stone, and the first thing you notice walking up is the 4 by 9 foot custom front door crafted from Honduran mahogany, flanked by a matching porch railing and a Philippine mahogany tongue and groove ceiling overhead.

Inside, the craftsmanship continues throughout. Custom kitchen cabinetry, Viking appliances, Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, custom moldings, and a 29 foot great room ceiling with a wood burning fireplace anchor the main living spaces. The master suite has its own gas fireplace, and the home includes both first and second floor laundry, a whole house intercom and stereo system with Sirius radio, hard wired candle lighting across the front elevation windows, and a wheelchair accessible elevator.

On the mechanical and energy efficiency side, the home features a geothermal heating and cooling system, Nu Wool blown insulation with mold inhibitors, Andersen 400 series windows and patio doors with Low-E glass, and a 400 amp electrical service. The heated three car garage, garage skirt, front sidewalk, and front and rear porches are all equipped with ice melt systems.
